Georgi Georgiev

Prof. Dr. Georgi Georgiev was born on April 30, 1950 in the town of Kyustendil. He has graduated the “Sv. Kliment Ohridski” Sofia University, specialty “Physical Geography”. Doctor and Assistant Professor in the scientific specialty of “Ecosystem Ecology and Preservation”. Chair of the “Tourism” department at the Economic faculty of “Neofit Rilski” South-West University – Blagoevgrad. His scientific contribution is gathered in over 80 articles published here and abroad. He is the author of four textbooks, several books and a series of popular science articles. He has taken part as a director or expert in several projects of the “Leonardo Da Vinci” program of transnational cooperation.
